Impersonate
My favorite funny video show is airing every Saturdays. It’s just like the America ‘s Funniest Videos where people send in their entries and were shown on TV. The funniest video of the week is selected by the viewers through the Audience Response System, a kind of software that enables interaction between the hosts or the participants and the viewers through a clicker that sends in the audience’s response and a system that interprets and tallies the responses.
There were several portions in the show, but my favorite is the portion where the host does impersonations of several popular individuals or sometimes pretends to be a common individual that plays a significant role in a set-up, with all the costumes, make up, accomplices and the whole set to complete the scenario.
It was during Halloween when the host, a guy, put on some make-up and pretended to be a ghost of a girl’s grandmother who wanted to make revenge to her son-in-law through her granddaughter. Everything is just so hard to explain in words, but it really is funny to see how the girl reacted and how she almost passed out when she saw the “ghost”.
I am not really a fan of practical joke shows; I just admire the talent of the host. Being able to impersonate is indeed one great talent.
