Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded systems are often mass-produced to benefit different economies of scale. Though most embedded computers are expensive they have become one of the extensively use devices in the field of car manufacturing and others.
